Join the Big Dog Squad for a relaxed training-focused morning at Markeaton Park, designed to help our dogs build confidence and learn to settle and focus around other dogs.

This session is all about working together, giving our dogs the opportunity to practise good behaviour around other dogs in a controlled environment, and supporting each other along the way.

🐕 What to expect

We'll meet at 10:00am in the park and spend some time working on:

• Training alongside other dogs

• Settling calmly around other dogs

• Focus and engagement around distractions

• Giving our dogs space and helping them feel comfortable

• Supporting dogs who may be reactive, nervous or easily over-excited

After our training session, we'll head into Derby town centre for a coffee and a chance for the humans to socialise too. ☕️🐾

⚠️ Important

Attendance is completely optional — come along if you feel this type of session would benefit you and your dog.

For everyone's safety and comfort, all dogs must remain on leads throughout the event. There will be no off-lead time during this session.

This event is exclusively for BDS Squad members.
