SEPTEMBER 20th - bds social with Brewdog MCr (Family and friends welcome)
After carefully monitoring the weather forecast, we've made the difficult decision to postpone our BDS Summer Social with BrewDog.
The safety and wellbeing of our community, and most importantly our dogs, will always come first. With the forecasted high temperatures, we don't feel it's responsible to encourage dogs and owners to travel or spend extended periods out and about.
We know many of you were looking forward to the event, and we're just as disappointed. However, we'd much rather wait for cooler, safer conditions so everyone can relax and enjoy the day together.
A new date will be announced as soon as possible, and everyone who had registered will be updated through the website and WhatsApp community.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can't wait to celebrate with you all very soon. 🖤🐾

We're taking the Big Dog Squad to the Cotswolds! 🐾🌿
Join us for a full BDS day out exploring somewhere a little different, with plenty of beautiful scenery, big-dog-friendly adventures and time to socialise with the squad.
We'll be choosing a location in the Cotswolds that gives us a great combination of dog-friendly walking, stunning surroundings and a nearby village/town to explore afterwards.
Whether your dog loves meeting new friends or simply enjoys being out exploring with their humans, this will be a relaxed BDS day designed to bring the squad together. 🐶❤️

🐾 BDS Training & Social — Markeaton Park

Join the Big Dog Squad for a relaxed training-focused morning at Markeaton Park, designed to help our dogs build confidence and learn to settle and focus around other dogs.
This session is all about working together, giving our dogs the opportunity to practise good behaviour around other dogs in a controlled environment, and supporting each other along the way.
🐕 What to expect
We'll meet at 10:00am in the park and spend some time working on:
Training alongside other dogs
Settling calmly around other dogs
Focus and engagement around distractions
Giving our dogs space and helping them feel comfortable
Supporting dogs who may be reactive, nervous or easily over-excited
After our training session, we'll head into Derby town centre for a coffee and a chance for the humans to socialise too. ☕️🐾
⚠️ Important
Attendance is completely optional — come along if you feel this type of session would benefit you and your dog.
For everyone's safety and comfort, all dogs must remain on leads throughout the event. There will be no off-lead time during this session.
