After carefully monitoring the weather forecast, we've made the difficult decision to postpone our BDS Summer Social with BrewDog.
The safety and wellbeing of our community, and most importantly our dogs, will always come first. With the forecasted high temperatures, we don't feel it's responsible to encourage dogs and owners to travel or spend extended periods out and about.
We know many of you were looking forward to the event, and we're just as disappointed. However, we'd much rather wait for cooler, safer conditions so everyone can relax and enjoy the day together.
A new date will be announced as soon as possible, and everyone who had registered will be updated through the website and WhatsApp community.

☀️ BDS Summer Social at BrewDog Manchester
Join us for our first ever Big Dog Squad Summer Social in collaboration with BrewDog!
This event is all about bringing our community together in a relaxed setting to socialise, make new friends, enjoy great food, and spend quality time with our dogs outside of our usual hikes and walks.

Dogs Welcome: Large breeds only
Friends & Family: Welcome to join us (16+ years)

⚠️ Important Information
To help keep everyone safe and ensure all dogs have a positive experience, please follow these event rules:
Large breeds only. Small dogs are NOT permitted at this event.
Dogs in season (heat) are NOT permitted to attend.
Dogs MUST remain on lead throughout the event.
Please respect other dogs' space and individual needs.
Not all dogs enjoy greetings, so please ask before approaching another dog or owner.
Owners remain responsible for their dogs and their behaviour at all times.
Please clean up after your dog.
Water bowls and regular comfort breaks are encouraged.
🍔 Booking & Food Pre-Orders
To help us plan numbers and food arrangements, advance booking is required.
Food Pre-Order Deadline: Monday 29th June 2026
BrewDog has requested that all food orders and payments are submitted before the event.
If you register to attend after 29th June, you are still very welcome to join us, however we cannot guarantee that food will be available, as the restaurant requires all orders and payments in advance.
Drinks can be purchased directly from the bar throughout the event.
Food pre-orders are managed via the dedicated event WhatsApp group, where you'll be able to submit your order and payment before the deadline.

Friends and family accompanying attendees (16+ years)
Please note this is primarily an adult social event. To help ensure a relaxed and safe environment for all dogs attending, children are NOT permitted at this event.

Whether you've attended every walk or you're brand new to the community, we'd love to see you there. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other large-breed dog owners, celebrate how much Big Dog Squad has grown, and enjoy a summer afternoon together.
